Volt is immediately hiring for Machine Operators in Buffalo Grove, IL.

As a Machine Operator you will:

Review production schedules, process procedures and specifications regarding the sequential start-up, operation and control of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.
Monitor the operation of the automated equipment and peripheral hardware. Initiates adjustments to ensure that the automated equipment and peripheral hardware operate within the established control limits.
Inspect quality levels of production on the automated equipment and peripheral hardware. Makes adjustments to equipment or hardware when workmanship drops below quality specifications. Initiate rework/repair activities on product that is substandard to the specifications.
Record data required for statistical process control or inventory management.
Perform preventive maintenance on the automated equipment and peripheral hardware at specified intervals and schedules.
Perform sequential shutdown, including the cleaning of the automated equipment or peripheral hardware.
Perform physical or combined administrative/physical tasks involved in the storing, counting, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

This is a full time opportunity.

Machine Operator candidates must meet the following requirements:

Be able to stand for entire 12 hour shift
Great attention to detail
Able to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions.
Ability to effectively present to other employees, leads and supervisors of the organization.
Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements



Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.80 per hour - Shifts: 12 hour rotational shifts 6am-6pm or 6pm to 6am

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
