Job Description:
A company is looking for a Security Detection Engineer to join
their Security Operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain threat detection systems,
continuously monitoring for potential threats
Collaborate with the Incident Response team to investigate security
incidents and conduct forensic investigations
Research vulnerabilities, integrate threat intelligence, and drive
automation initiatives to enhance security measures
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a
related field (or equivalent experience)
Fundamental understanding of network protocols, operating systems,
and core cybersecurity principles
Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS,
firewalls, and endpoint protection
Familiarity with common attack vectors and associated defensive
measures
Strong ability to analyze logs, network traffic, and system
activity to identify security threats
